Keeping Up-To-Date: Fire Sprinkler Incentive Act
Never before has it been smarter to install a sprinkler system! Insurance carriers offer enough cuts to most owners who have a sprinkler system to pay for the system itself within just a few years. Now, due to a new bill by republican Senator Rick Santorum, those insurance incentives are in addition to new tax incentives. Nursing Facility Fire Safety Act
AAA has been involved in the addition of sprinkler systems to existing nursing homes for quite a while. Today there is new, added pressure from state organizations to require automatic type sprinkler systems in all nursing care facilities. With the increasing incident of fatalities due to fires in nursing homes; many states have even set compliance deadlines for health care providers to meet in order to decrease these accidents. States, however, won't have long to make theses changes on their own before the Nursing Facility Fire Safety Act of 2004 makes it law for every nursing facility, old or new, to be equipped and/or retrofitted with some type of automatic sprinkler system.
